“This is the Life” Winer

Wine: The Crusher Petite Sirah 2012
Type: Red, Dry

Earthy, spicy with yummy aromas of wild blueberry, black licorice and purple plum.

The “Timeless” Winer

Wine: Guardian Peak Frontier Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Type: Red, Dry
Vineyard: Guardian Peak Winery (South Africa)

Buy local or find it at

Bright ruby red color with aromas of raspberry, plum and hints of black cherry and cedar. The mouth is filled with the flavors of these fruits that conflicts and then suddenly makes complete sense on the tongue.  It went particularly well with a medium rare, nothing else on it (thank you very much) hamburger.

The “Hippy” Winer

Wine: Don Rodolfo Vina Cornejo Costas Tannat
Type: Red, Dry
Vineyard: Don Rodolfo Winery (Argentina)

Buy local or find it at

The color of this beauty is such an intense red that it almost appears purple. The nose is filled with the aromas of rich red berries and black currant, and the most subtle hints of chocolate. It is lovely to look at, expressive yet with soft tannins. Purchased on a whim, actually, it now has several spots reserved in our rack.
